Holy Cross Math Competition
On March 2nd 2017, a team of 8 students from 7th and 8th grade participated in Holly Cross Academy Math competition. Students from 17 schools, a total of 128 students competed in an individual round and also as a team against each other. Mackenzie O’Connor, Katherina Rigas, and Yuhan Hou finished as top 8 students in individual round out of 128 participants, which puts them in the top 94 percentile. The top 16 participated in another round of competition for the selection of top 4 individual score. Yuhan Hou finished with a bronze medal as number 3 contestant out of 128 students. Congratulations to all participants!
Scholastic Olympics 2017
We are proud to announce the Scholastic Olympics medal winners: History: Richard S, gold; Lena M, bronze. English: Miriam R, gold. Music: Gabriella C, gold; Joseph F, bronze. Art: Angelique G silver; Vivian D, bronze. Technology: Rocco N, silver. Spelling: Alexa B, bronze. We are proud of all our student participants!

New Student Registration
Our New Student Registration for PreK to Grade 8 is February 8th, 10-12 noon OR 5-7 pm. Please see the Admissions tab on our web site to view the criteria for registration.
Open House, January 29, 2017
Join us for our Catholic Schools Week Mass 12 noon January 29, 2017. Following Mass is our Open House from 1:30 -3pm.
National Geography Bee
Congratulations to our National Geography Bee winner, Richard Schenck! He will go on to compete in the state competition via the online test.

St Rose Scholastic Bowl
CONGRATULATIONS to our 8th Grade Scholars who won 2nd Place at the St. Rose High School Invitational Academic Bowl. Students on the winning team included: Casey Cunningham, Mackenzie O’Connor, Hannah Braverman, William Schwester, Jackson Hefferon, Derek Giordano, Alexandra Barrera, Lauren Espineli and Katerina Rigas. Special recognition to Mackenzie O’Connor who received the first place medal in Mathematics
John Hopkins University Talent Search
We are happy to announce that 192 of our students (41% of those who were tested in Grades 2-8 last year in March) qualified for the Johns Hopkins University Talent Search based on the Terra Nova Scores from Last March. This is significantly higher than last year…..last year we had 33.18%.
Parent Access Link
All parents of children in grades 3-8 have access to Parent Access, our online program that gives parents the ability to view their children’s grades. If we have a current email address for you then you received an email from Genesis, our database provider with your user name and password. If we do not have a current email address for you please call the main office and speak to Mrs. Doran to update your email address. Her phone number is 732 349 2355 x 2004. Mrs. Doran will then notify the Diocese and Genesis will send you your credentials.
If you FORGET or LOSE your password please use the "Forgot my Password" feature. If you still can't login call Mrs. Doran in the main office at 732 349 2355 x2004. Please do not call the Diocesan office for this information. The individual school is the only one who knows their parents and the Diocese cannot give out that information. This protocol is in place for the protection and privacy of the parents and students.
